Direct Textbook Contest: Win a Tablet PC

by Tracy

Here’s something which should perk your attention. Direct Textbook is having a contest, you know, the standard, "Tell a student how they can save over 40% this year on books by using Direct Textbook," for an entry that everyone knows how to do. The prizes are pretty cool though:

1 ThinkPad X41 Tablet PC
5 Apple iPod Minis
10 Amazon $50 Gift Certificates

You can enter up to 100 times. Pretty nice deal if you win, lol. Click here to cheek it out.

Also, I kinda wish I knew about this site when I ordered my books the beginning of August. I go through Half.com, but it’s possible I could have saved some more money. I’ll have to try it next semester. Let me know if anyone saves a lot of money using this.

Well I was really hoping to get the Tablet PC, but I ended up as one of the 5 that won the IPOD Mini.

I got a million spam e-mails, but I guess it was worth it.. now I just hope they send it to me.

That’s cool you got the iPod mini though…I wouldn’t mind one of those…

Well since a lot of people will be looking at this year old post and comments… I’d like to say that I did eventually recieve the iPod mini. To prove it, I’d have to pry the device from my blood-sucking ex girl friend… So I hope that won’t be a problem.

    yup

The above posts by Joshua Rebert do not accurately reflect the 2005 Direct Textbook contest. All prizes were sent in a timely manner. A copy of the tracking information that was generated from his shipment can be viewed here.

Mr. Rebert additionally states that he was sent spam email. This statement is also untrue.
