January 8th, 2005 at 9:05 pmI would make an addition to the math/science programs. This is not Tablet specific, but I have found it it to be very useful nonetheless. GraphCalc at http://www.GraphCalc.com is a very nice graphing calculator that is freeware. It can create both 2-d and 3-d plots, as well as do basic scientific-calculator stuff. I’m still not sold on XThink’s stuff because the features it touts are the sorts of things I can do by hand or with GraphCalc. It would be nice if they had some good sort of converter for Mathematica, because that already has great computational power.
February 6th, 2005 at 8:50 amCool ruler is a pretty nice app - thanks for posting it here. I was curious about how to get the protractor feature to work because I could not find it. As a side note, I tried the Physics Simulator and in general was not very impressed. It’s sorta cool, but your simulation options are very limited and you can get some very, very bogus results in the simulations.
February 6th, 2005 at 1:44 pmI’ll have to take a look at GraphCal, thanks ^_^.
Also, I thought I read CoolRuler had a protractor, but I haven’t found that feature either. I think I read something wrong. I’ll see if I can find anything with a protractor though because that’d be cool…
